High-alloy steels

They complete the range for applications where cast irons are not sufficient in terms of abrasion or temperature resistance.
X200Cr13 steel can be machined in the as-cast state and reaches 60 HRC after quenching, making it suitable for augers and components subject to intense wear; X130Cr30 is used for grates and furnace components thanks to its resistance to high-temperature oxidation.
As with special cast irons, these castings require close collaboration between the customer and the technical office to define the optimal production cycle and heat treatment.
