QUALITY INTEGRATED INTO THE PROCESS

The analysis and testing laboratory is the technical core of our production. We monitor every stage, from melting to delivery, through systematic checks that prevent defects and guarantee absolute compliance with technical specifications, ensuring reliability and repeatability.

CHEMICAL ANALYSIS AND MELT CONTROL

Precision starts at the furnace side.
We monitor the material composition in real time using advanced equipment, verified by specialised partners. By intervening promptly during the melting process, we ensure total and rigorous compliance with the defined technical parameters.

METALLURGICAL ANALYSIS AND STRUCTURE

We constantly monitor the microstructure and correct graphite morphology by combining real-time thermal analysis (on the liquid iron before pouring) with optical microscopy (on solidified samples). Inspection frequency is differentiated according to the criticality of the material.
• Ductile and special irons: systematic monitoring. Every single ladle is sampled and checked to guarantee total structural compliance and absolute safety.
• Grey (lamellar) irons: statistical sampling checks, calibrated according to strict internal protocols based on our historical experience and the customer’s specific requirements

MECHANICAL TESTING AND NDT INSPECTIONS

We certify the mechanical properties of every casting through tensile, impact and hardness tests using calibrated instruments.
To guarantee customers the highest standards of reliability, we constantly invest in the qualification of our staff: we have a large team of highly qualified Level 2 technicians, able to carry out rigorous non-destructive testing in-house using Ultrasonic (UT), Radiographic (RT), Penetrant (PT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) testing.

DIGITALISATION AND TRACEABILITY

We manage the daily traceability of our production through an advanced digital system that maps every melting batch and every single ladle.
On this solid industrial foundation, we also offer an exclusive piece-by-piece serialisation service for the most critical sectors.
This advanced capability allows us to track the metallurgical history of every single casting and issue individual certifications, meeting perfectly the extremely strict excellence standards required by the railway sector.

3D SCANNING AND FINAL TESTING

We use high-precision 3D scanning systems to validate tolerances and complex geometries against the original CAD models.
In addition, where the criticality of the component requires it or at the customer’s specific request, we carry out series endoscopic inspections to check internal channels and machinability tests. This targeted approach guarantees the perfect integration of the casting into the customer’s subsequent assembly processes.
